Privacy Policy

Infraze is a personal blog about platform engineering and cloud architecture, run by Joel. It is a static website with no accounts and no comment system. The only place you can actively send information is the optional contact form. This page explains the little that happens to your data when you visit.

What Infraze collects

Nothing automatically. The site sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising, and does not build a profile of you. There is no login and no database of visitors — the only personal data Infraze receives is what you choose to send through the contact form, described below.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the site — for example your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This data is handled by Vercel as part of operating its platform. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy for details on how they process it.

Content delivery (Cloudflare)

Traffic to the site is routed through Cloudflare, which acts as a proxy and CDN in front of the host. This means your request first passes through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and request details to deliver content quickly and protect the site against abuse and attacks. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details on how they process it.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which posts are useful. It is cookieless and privacy-friendly: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not track you across other websites. Visitors are counted using an anonymous hash derived from the incoming request rather than a persistent identifier, and only aggregated data is available to me — it cannot be used to identify you. See Vercel’s Web Analytics Privacy & Compliance for details.

You can opt out by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, or by using a content blocker. Because no personal profile is built, there is nothing further to delete.

Contact form

The contact form is optional. If you use it, the name, email address, and message you enter are sent through Web3Forms — a form-handling service — which forwards them to my inbox so I can reply. That data is used only to respond to you: it is not stored in a database on this site, used for marketing, or shared with anyone else. See Web3Forms’ Privacy Policy for how they process submissions. Prefer to skip the form? Email me directly instead.

Posts link to third-party sites (documentation, tools, source code). Once you follow a link, this policy no longer applies — the destination site has its own privacy practices, which are worth reviewing.

Your rights

Because Infraze does not collect or store personal information about you, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. The exception is a message you sent through the contact form — if you’d like it deleted from my inbox, just ask. For questions about data processed by the host, contact details are below.
